Rain at last!

Our family visitors had a bright morning ( they took Russet out for a walk) but around lunchtime the promised rain arrived.
We had a roast dinner with all the trimmings and afterwards I went outside (it was only raining a little) with the two children to show them some of our pond newts. They wanted to take some home! But newts are not great travellers!
J was admiring the raindrops on these tulips- and we both used our iPhones to take a picture of them.
My iPhone is not as up to date as J's!! (He is 11 !! )
