Inspired My Generation

Spent a large part of the day taking part in the London Duathlon around Richmond Park - 10k run, 22k bike, 5k run. It was soo hot - ridiculous for September although I wouldn't have been complaining otherwise!

Given that it is the final day of the Olympics/Paralympics, thought it would be appropriate to blip my own "gold medal" achievements this year - the duathlon and the London Marathon - my first and last marathon! Along with my trusty trainers that got me through both.

Am now off to open a bottle of wine that has my name on it!
