Window, Arichonan

This is a view through two triangular windows in a cottage in a clearance village in Argyll. Apparently triangular windows were a local tradition. The village was cleared by force in 1848. The extras are another view through the windows looking back up the hill, and another ruined house in the village with the standard type of window. The people who lived here had a stunning view. I would dearly love to be able to travel back in time and see how life really was for them.
Again driving myself slightly mad trying to decide which photo to use.
