New glass

I fully accept that the way forward with my photography is NOT with more equipment.  But with the taxman returning a small amount to me which s/he didn't need, there was an opportunity.  And my camera is quite heavy.  So a modest purchase of a 50mm lens was made and it arrived today.  And the camera is much lighter so I can put the purchase down to health and safety.
I played around with it this afternoon and caught this tulip popping up from  some white candytuft.  Looking forward to more fun and more learning.
