Wild seedlings

This spot in the garden seems to be the perfect place for swan plants to grow.  The whole garden, which is about 2 square metres covered in these tiny seedlings.  Some of them will end up at school for Teach's class to nurture for next seasons caterpillars.

School was almost normal today, although the day didn't start that way.  Teach was up making our coffee, porridge was on the stove and he was making his sandwiches for camp when I saw him grab his hand and rush over to the cold tap...I looked where he came from and noticed blood on the sharp knife.  A quick inspection and it was a quick trip to A & E to get 4 stitches in the right index finger on the big joint.  Needless to say we both missed out on breakfast and coffee.  He went off to camp with the finger well bandaged and and unable to move it.  They are camping in a valley.  Hopefully the students will do his dishes for him and luckily for him it was on his right hand as he is left-handed.
