Three Girls and a Baby

The day of the sleepover. The day Miss A loves oh so much. The day the three little girls get to dress up and swap dollies while the three big girls drink wine and put the world to rights. Today was no different, except for the presence of one big brother but he was happier doing skids down the hallway than dressing up or chatting to three old dears, understandably so.

The kids were exceptionally well behaved and played brilliantly together which meant us mothers could get a good catch up - well it has been months in the making, after all.

This was the moment I sneaked into the bedroom to check if the girls were sleeping. Clearly not. Apparently they all wanted to sleep in separate beds so a few final adjustments to the sleeping arrangements and we had two happy, sleepy girls. Miss A, however, wouldn't settle until she was downstairs with the mummies and curled up to sleep on the sofa instead.

Whatever keeps the peace on nights like this...
