Concours of Elegance at Windsor Castle

Windsor has been a paradise for petrolheads today. A Concours of Elegance was held in the quadrangle of the castle where 60 of the rarest classic and vintage cars were displayed to mark the Queen's Diamond Jubilee. Additionally two Royal limousines, a carriage, the Duke of Edinburgh's personal Alvis and Prince Charles's Aston Martin were on display.

Unusually the public had access to the quadrangle and the castle grounds from the Cambridge Gate. Combined with the splendid sunny weather it was a day to remember.

I had difficulty selecting an appropriate blip. I decided against a general shot or one of a car and went for something a little more abstract showing some detailing of a Ferrari along with the castle.
