My favourite tree
Now buds have opened
leaves breathe the sound of the sea
in my favourite oak
I'm pretty sure I've blipped this tree more than once before, but I do love it. Its branches reach right across one of the lanes nearby that is part of one of our regular walks. And we very much needed to stretch our legs after the long drive home. Our road trip's lasted two weeks and we've seen many beautiful parts of the British Isles - from Lincolnshire to Northumberland, from Cheshire to Gwynedd, from Staffordshire to Somerset and back home to Devon.
Thank you for following my trip's blips. I shall gradually catch up with comments now we're home again. (In between weeding the garden and doing the washing etc. etc.)
