Lackey moth larva.....

....Doing his best to look as scary as possible!
I found this Lackey moth Malacosoma neustria larva yesterday wandering across the pathway so I picked him up so I can raise him at home and hopefully get some pictures. 
I love the fake 'eye spots', he does look rather scary!
Hopefully the weather will be more sunny tomorrow....it has been really quite grim today.
