Almost there.

A day of so many photos I have a dilemma which to blip. but the swan won, as it isn't often you see an egg which is cracked, as the little cygnet inside is pecking its way out.
After taking the photo Mrs Swan sat back down on them all, and we couldn't wait to see the baby hatch out. Mr Swan wasn't too happy with us standing so close.

What a fabulous day out.
Went with friends to Burnby Hall to see the tulips. ( see extra photo)
Beautiful weather, and  what wonderful display.
Delicious lunch at the cafe, and then a walk along the Pocklington canal.
Which is where we saw the swans.

My other special photo for today was the baby owl, ( see extras)
A. spotted it up in the nest box. Not too far from the path, so I could get a good photo.
We think it could be a tawny owl, but no sign of the parents.

The icing on the cake for today was a phone call from our eldest grandson to say he had passed his driving test. Yipeeeeee!!!
