Oystercatcher at St Catherine's Bay

Today we had a thoroughly enjoyable blipmeet with Nickimags888 at St Catherine's (see extra). After coffee and a stroll along the breakwater with Nicki we parted company and kwdiane and I walked to Gorey.

The main picture was taken halfway along and although I would normally have gone with the blipmeet image or the view of Mont Orgueil castle (other extra) i was very pleased with this oystercatcher shot. I had so many good pictures I wanted to use today that I have had to reject my kestrel and rock pipit but see kwdiane's pictures.

We spent so much time taking pictures on our walk that we didn't have time to visit the botanical gardens which was our original intention.
