Perfect day in Newlands

After our B&B guests went out for the day, I took the opportunity to pop out for a run. Managed about 8 miles, and although it was really sunny, the winds certainly took the edge off the temperature. Newlands valley looked splendid in the warm spring sunshine - really feels like summer is just round the corner. We haven't had rain in about a month now, so waterfalls are non-existent, and lake levels are really low.
