Applying The Asterisk

I had to go for a later walk than usual---after grocery shopping and getting together with the  Singing Saints---so I was pleasantly surprised when the hawk burst from the cover of the trees and made a few passes overhead.  I got some shots with his wings more outspread in the light, but I really liked his predatory look and posture in this shot----and you know the rule and its asterisk---if I see the hawk, you see the hawk!
