Devastated

Sudden death is brutal and shocking.

Only hours after I wrote the last sentence of my blog yesterday when I said how lucky we felt still to be able to enjoy cycling on a Sunday, we got a phone call to say that the body of a man found yesterday morning on Ben Cruachan after an overnight search, was that of one of His Lordship's four Wednesday walking friends, who had been reported missing after getting separated from his son and grandson on Saturday.
