The Stack at Tumbledown Bay

A friend and I drove out to Tumbledown Bay today, which is on the south coast of Banks Peninsula. It was a glorious day, sunny and warm, and it was a real joy being there. This sea stack is absolutely huge, as you'll see if you go Large, and see the gulls sitting on it. We had amazing views driving down into Tumbledown Bay, and then later across Lake Ellesmere, plus the east coast of the South Island stretching as far south as we could see. Magnificent!
