Cracked

This is a drainpipe at the inlet of the reheater of unit 7.
It started a few weeks ago: every time the unit was stopped during the weekend water was coming out of a detectorpipe (see insert) at the bottom of the boiler when it was cooling down.
In this boiler the exhaust gases of the gasturbine heat the water and steam in the pipes.
Also every time it was just too hot to open a hatch at the side of the boiler to go in and investigate.
But: this morning we had the chance to go in and discovered this pipe that was completely cracked in two pieces.
This was probably caused by tension (heating up, cooling down and so on).
Inside the pipe normally is a pressure of about 34 bar.
Keeping the unit running can cause serious damage so we decided to have it repaired.
Just now it is welded and all the safety precautions have been discontinued and the unit will start up in a few hours.
