Dogs on the beach, Balnakiel

Cut some lettuce for the Anchorage bar, delivered and unloaded some drinks for the hall.

Then a trip to Durness to attend the SNP Sutherland branch meeting in the village hall. Quite interesting, with a breakdown of the local election results, and plans for the general election in June. (To readers who get there news from the BBC, the SNP increased their council seats by 6, and became the main party in 12 councils including Glasgow. The BBC only seems to report the conservative gains and a dent to the SNP plan for another independence referendum).

It's been a week now of glorious sunshine, but there was haar in Durness, lowering the temperature by 5 degrees. Still warm enough to run the dogs on the beach..
