A day of butterflies and wild flowers

I went on a Sussex Butterfly conservation walk to Rewell wood near Arundel today which was wonderful but for the fact the butterflies were really quite flighty and not that willing to sit still at all! Luckily I did manage a few shots of the beautiful Pearl-bordered fritillary Boloria euphrosyne and have posted the best as my blip for today.
I couldn't resist adding a contextual shot of the lovely Duke of burgundy Hamearis lucina, sitting in the grass, at a different location this afternoon, and a shot a beautiful clump of Cowslip at the same location......rather tired now!
