Thistle Bug

Back to work tomorrow after a wonderful week off (aren't they all?). Michelle wasn't working either today so we went for a walk with the dog in Pitmedden Forest followed by lunch in the Tannochbrae Tearoom in Auchtermuchty run by the World Porridge Champion. He serves the tastiest cheesecake on the planet, no exaggeration! (recipe on his website here).

Pitmedden is a fantastic, stunning forest at the eastern extreme of the Ochil Hills. There are two bits. A smaller section near Auchtermuchty where we were today - great for an hour or two's walk, and good firm trails for bikes. The other section on the Tay side of the hill is 2 or 3 times the size and awesome. I've still got to get there on the bike, but it looks like cross country heaven.

I was hoping to blip a forest shot - got some nice compositions, but had the ISO set to 200 instead of auto, so they were blurred. I'd realised this by the time Michelle spotted these thistle bugs.
