Reed Beetle

We had a nice walk in the sunshine this afternoon, parking the car in Wilmcote and walked along the canal towpath to Stratford. 
This golden beetle caught my eye as it was really sparkling. Closer inspection of the photo  revealed that it's actually TWO reed beetles doing what reed beetles do on a Sunday afternoon in the sunshine.
I'm not 100% positive that it is a reed beetle. However, it is a beetle and it (they) is sitting on a reed. 
We had a cup of tea (and a shared scone - we never eat one of anything each if it's sweet) and then caught the train back to Wilmcote. My pedometer is telling me that we walked almost 5 miles, so that's good.
