Minor Diversion

The first car I had a ride in was a Morris Minor which was owned by a rich relation

At times I would have rather have had a ride than a walk with the ladies this morning.

A field gate had been left open and a herd of cows - some with calves and a bull had wondered onto the narrow grassy enclosed lane we were walking. They were too tightly packed to walk through and we didn't fancy herding them back into the field.

Evasive action was taken - climb a wall - scramble up banking on all fours - traverse part of a heather moor with no path - slide down part of a hill on bottom - all to bypass the cattle.

And to think - some people say walking is boring!
