Monday: Roofs of Motovun

We have had a full day out in the car today, exploring the hill towns of Istria.  We started off at the Limski Kanal where the best mussels in Croatia are apparently farmed. As we had just had breakfast, I can't testify as to whether that is true or not.

From there we went to Brtoniglia, Buje, Gro?njan (an artists' community and our favourite place) before ending up in Motovun.  The views were incredible but it was a pretty hazy day so no shot did them justice.  

Last night in Rovinj tonight - tomorrow we head to the islands.  But we have really liked it here and I know we will be back.
