Tram

Anyone who knows Edinburgh, knows how much the Pentland Hills are loved, and their importance to the setting of and views from the city.

The new tram route gives a fresh perspective, and here is one shot from the window as we passed Saughton.

I take the tram out to Hermiston Gate shopping centre on the edge of the city and walk from there to Hermiston village itself, where the family home is.

This view tells me I've moved out towards the less populated western suburbs.
