. . . to free stream flow from mini dam collected around fallen tree. Involved Marley in precarious balancing, but he said as it was my tree causing the problem so he had to do something about it.

Had lovely evening with him in sunshine messing about in the field.

Later made cheese omelette and chips and he made banana splits and we watched programme about the Norman Conquest which is very important given his dual nationality. Planned a trip to Bayeux, but of course his mother might not let him.

I've been.very anxious about election.today (well, we've had two unexpected​ly awful outcomes in UK and US), but of course,
the French came through confidently.
Thank goodness.
