A concrete love affair

a POSTPEAKCARTASTIC Burleys Bike

My bike under Burleys's flyover.

Just how Leicester's decaying disused railway viaducts and stations are monuments to a romantic bygone age of peak-train-travel. The city's car parks, concrete flyovers and underpasses contrive to build a monolithic patchwork, forming a backdrop to the impermanence and ephemeral status of the car-culture they upheld. These are the artefacts it leaves behind.

When I see all this, I wonder what it might all look like in 20,000 years?
