RAF Wratting Common

Went for a walk over the old aerodrome at West Wratting to have a look at these buildings.  Situated right at the remotest corner of the airfield, these are two of the three bomb fusing huts where bombs from the bomb dump were made ready and then transported on to the dispersal areas and the waiting aircraft.

The extra shows three buildings where aircraft small arms ammunition was stored.

It has been a pretty grey, windy and cold sort of day... I thought the light was quite appropriate for these subjects.
