Mono Monday: Intention

Choice of two themes for Mono Monday this week (thanks, SkiMe!): "Le Regard Oblique" or "Intention". It was fascinating reading the background to "Le Regard", but I went for the easy (i.e. nicely vague!) one :)

This is the lighthouse at the mouth of Buckie harbour; when you build a huge structure out into our wild North Sea and stick a big light on it, the intention is very clear. I intentionally composed the shot to include the reflection in the water, and while I could have let it stand as pure black & white it was my intention from  the time I took it to see how it would look with the bright red objects colour-popped.
