Baby Red Oak Leaves

A very young oak tree brings forth new leaves. The little tree is growing behind a wire cage to keep the browsing deer away during the winter.
Happy to see it coming along.
And the predicted snow thankfully did not arrive but it is really cold and damp today and no fun for outdoor gardening. (sigh)
