Sparkling Rain and Mama Rose

Heading home tonight in the rain, i caught sight of the perfect droplets clinging to every leaf and blade, and knew I wanted to get out into the garden with my macro.

Scouting around, I suddenly saw that my favourite rose - planted in memory of my Mum and featured many times on here - had an unexpected single late bloom. Hanging, perfectly weighted with the rain, and glowing in the gloomy evening's fading light.
