pub lunch...

...and an unexpected Guinness at the Mundaring Hotel with an old friend. We have known each other for over 40 years from the early days at Liverpool Uni  and then some decades later we worked together.
We are also neighbours!...yes six houses apart after all these years of travelling the globe.

His health is rapidly declining and while his steps and words may be failing B's interest in rocks and nature continues.
We had a lovely meander through the hills to the pub and re-lived many a uni moment and memory shared over a pint of Guinness.
