Out, damned spot

Ben went today for a minor operation to remove a troublesome cyst in his ear that keeps getting infected.

The timing was important since starting next week we have: A Level exams, end of exam parties, holiday with the lads, holiday with the family, Boomtown festival attendance and (hopefully) finally university.

I could tell when it was uncomfortable by watching his foot twitch.  

They checked I wasn't a 'fainter' before they said I could watch, in fact I found it really quite fascinating.
