reasons other than fringes

A combination of wind and neds had finally resulted in the Heras fencing preventing people from using the shiny new access slope to the development just off South Trinity Road snapping, falling over and blocking two-thirds of the path this morning, so I spent a few minutes dragging it as close to the wall as possible before weighting down the stray exposed end of the mesh and Clarencing the whole business. Had I not used up my bag's supply of heavy-duty zip-ties on a previous getting-some-fencing-out-of-the-way-of-a-cycle-path opportunity I'd have been able to do what the contractors had done by lunchtime and just fasten the fence to the railing of the yet-unused slope to the south.
