Soldier Blue

She was busily soldiering on ovipositing under the buds of the shrubs in the garden at quite a rate this afternoon. Perhaps it was the glorious sunshine which brought her down today as I've seen a pair around which were very flighty and skittish, high tailing it up into the branches of the tree tops every time I crept near! From below their wings seem almost silvery when in flight. 

Judging from the numerous times she laid her eggs, I am hoping for a bumper crop of them when they finally hatch as the second brood.
