Formal gardens

The Guildford Castle Gardens are still looking stunning, even though most of the tulips are past their best. The gardens are situated below the walls of the ancient Norman keep and are beautifully kept all year long. See the keep in my extra, which also shows the cathedral in the distance.
The WI Camera Group was there today to capture the colourful sight. Some of their photos will end up on the WI website, when I can find half a day to process them! I have so many jobs on my to do list.
Meanwhile Normous played his first game of golf for several weeks, having at last recovered from his chest infection. At last we have had a warm sunny day and that horrid cold wind has gone away.
