Evening training on safeguarding of vulnerable children and adults, delivered by the council. Much food for thought and follow up needed to ensure we're working to best practice. Did you know it's not illegal to leave children of any age unattended in a home? It only becomes a criminal matter when something bad happens. A strange loophole in the law. Don't tell those who like to neglect their kids, as it'll encourage them.
