Northern Cardinal

A male, with a vividly raised crest, along our driveway--I was peeking out of our back door; it didn't faze him, though he must have known I was there.  In the afternoon I hung the other half of my Massachusetts Coastal Birds show, at the Hitchcock Center (I had mounted the earlier part at Arcadia Sanctuary on May 2nd).
