Delicate……………

I am surprised these few strands of silk are managing to hold this Monarch Butterfly chrysalis. Usually the back feet are attached with much thicker thread and closer to the support.

It has been another day of persistent rain, at times much heavier than when I popped out to take this photo. 


Yesterday’s ‘wild’ colour added some brightness to the dull day, but I have decided to leave today’s photo as nature provided. I send a big thank you for the comments, stars and hearts. And I apologise that I am not keeping up with comments at the moment.
