A clear horizon

Today the Atlantic was looking blue and inviting, although I suspect rather chilly for a dip just yet.
There are lots of these purple flowers with velvety and succulent leaves on the tops of the dunes. I'm not sure what they are, but I love how the wildlife changes with the seasons round here.
