Still life

Photographed at our usual Friday haunt. Had a productive conversation with a parishioner who has been doing it tough physically and mentally. Things may have turned a corner. We had met for coffee and I had a beetroot latte! Jury is still out on that one!

I assisted at a funeral this afternoon and spoke to the deceased's family and friends at the wake about this strange new reality they find themselves in. Life (and death) is a funny old business.
