Spring clean...

It's that time of year when MrsDB's thoughts turn to nest building cleaning. Guess who gets all the crappy jobs?  Today I've been instructed to repaint the the 65 year old post box.  It' set into the house wall - away from public visibility (as per regulations for disused boxes).  I hate gloss painting and now my fingers are sticking together, there's paint down my nails and some on the slabs.  We are due an inspection soon.  That includes the post box and me.
