River of Flowers

Thursday: Blue Sky

Yet another day of gardening and bright blue sky.
The cordyline (Cabbage Tree) has lots of new flower spikes and last year's flower spikes are hanging on until the next gale.
Today's gardening job was to finish moving pots away from the oil tank then to clear all the growth around the summer fruiting raspberries, they will be mulched with the next lot of lawn clippings. We had so much fruit last summer and I can't wait to eat fresh raspberries again ...
Walked down the road to buy some Anglesey New Potatoes, £2.50 per kilo not bad for a treat!
When I got home there was an Orange Tip butterfly in the front garden but it passed through very quickly
