The Lookout!

Today the rains came and they're still coming! The gardens need a gentle soaking but what they got was a torrential downpour.

Not ideal conditions for walking or using a camera but out I went, suitably dressed for the inclement weather, and headed for the loch. Apart from a couple of joggers and dog walkers the path was deserted.

I was hoping to find the goslings sheltering under the mother goose's wings and on my second circuit I found just the shot I was looking for.  

I stood and watched for ages as the large family of slightly older Greylag goslings tried to squeeze under mum's wings ... an impossible task and dad didn't even offer some extra cover.
