A Plane Shot!

The forecast was that it was going to be 32C today: It was at least that and humid to boot. We decided on a walk from our Cretan village of Koutouloufari through Piskopiano village to Old Hersonissos. However, just after entering Piskopiano Mrs BB flip-flops (she's always wearing them) gave up and the road was too hot to walk barefoot. Being the gentleman I am, I walked back to fetch the car and took her to the main shops In Hersonissos to buy replacements.

We spent the rest of the day around the hotel pool, cooling off and both of us reading. I'm still into 'The Gangbusters' I started a couple of days ago.

Just before 7pm we trundled back to our room and made salad sandwiches to enjoy with a cold drink and watch the sun setting. The blipfoto is of a plane appearing to fly into the sun as it heads for Heraklion airport.
