house in the hills

Some of the ladies' running group wanted a hillwalk so P chose the hill and organised transport and I led the walk up Cairn Liath, a Munro in the Beinn a'Ghlo group.
Unfortunately the weather had broken and the upper part of the hill was in cloud (and rain on the top), though reasonably clear and dry lower down. This rather reduced the great views that can be had up there (and meant I had to be very careful about navigation) but we did get some lower down.
This wee cottage is now semi-ruined, it may have been for the stalking, but is set in a wonderful position 3 miles from the road end and was our final stop.
I got them all back down safely and no-one complained that the estimated 7-8 miles on the map turned out to be 9.
