Where has all the water gone? Normally this goose would be happily paddling on the surface of this very large pool.

Although we have had a severe lack of rain for weeks, that is not the cause of its distress.

The fact is that a sluice gate has failed and all the water from this large pond has run out into Morecambe Bay.
