Lone tree

Contrary to what weather forecasts might have portended, we've enjoyed fantastic weather today. We're all a bit pink in the face, having left the car at the Heritage Centre, walked down to Sailean to look at the lime workings, and then round and back via the main road. A good number of steps.

We'd packed a picnic, but in the end we ate it in the garden after we got back. After that, I fell asleep for a while in the sun whilst trying to read, and P did some extra walking up to the north end of the island and back. Mr A has cooked us a roast dinner of grass fed beef. Mmmmm. And we're on the outside of a couple of nice bottles of red. What a great place to stay. We've had a wonderful time.

Home tomorrow.

I've put a flickr album here.
