Midge season

Walking around Cocksburn reservoir  late this afternoon two dog walkers warned me the midges had arrived.

Well, all things are relative. In this part of Scotland  they are at worst only a minor irrititant  unlike the Highlands where their presence makes any outdoor activity in the evening almost unbearable.
Some years ago I did a video of M fighting them off  in Glencoe .
