Autumn Approaches

Why Autumn is my favourite season....

...... coats, hats, scarves, gloves, boots (uggs and wellies especially), thick socks, slippers (and just general cosyness) hot tea, steaming soup, snuggling up with a blanket and a book (though I do this most of the year round anyway) while the the wind and rain batter the outside, waves at the beach, open fires (I wish I had one), brisk walks, orange /red / brown leaves, the smell of chimney smoke, candles on a dark evening, halloween and spooky stories, fireworks, bonfires, an extra hour on the Sunday the clocks go back and, of course, a wedding anniversary.....

And well done Andy Murray!
