Closing The Window On Summer

Not really though as it is still warm enough to be out in short sleeves. This caught my eye because of the lines. Not sure exactly why but I like this a lot.

Got a delivery today and there was something rather wonderfully old fashioned about it. I ordered a birthday present over the internet, as you do, and instead of paying via credit card, they take your order, send you the stuff along with a bill. A bill that you then can go and pay at the bank or indeed pay though your bank in the internets.

I find that really trusting of them. I think it makes the world a better place.

Moot update: he's still OK but his eating habits are a bit funny. He totally ignored tuna yesterday but wolfed down a packet of medicated food that he normally just licks the jelly from.
