WHAT A DAY...

... first day in Fiji holiday, and already want to stay forever....as the locals say - "Fiji time... no need to rush take your time!!" 
We settled in, and had a slow start to take in the resort, then hopped the FJ$1 bus ride (and what an experience) to Nadi main town, and met some super locals. 

Ash at the ZigZag Cafe set us in the right direction for some fresh local fruit from the markets, then told us to go to see the guys at Iconic Tours for arranging our day trip out to an Island on Wednesday. Just superb humans.

Had a laugh with them about the Taxi driver who chased us all around town as we walked from spot to spot, and him thinking we were wanting a cab back home. Actually followed our movements, stopping to yell as we walked past, "cab mister... cheap fare"!!  What a hoot.

Then on return to resort just in time for happy hour and a fire dance show, then thankful I had the compact camera to catch this sunset pano, and in extra as we enjoyed dinner after a swim in extra.

Ah life's tough!!!
